  * Add -gsplit-dwarf to CXXFLAGS to workaround the memory allocation

  * Add support for gcc's attribute abi_tag (needed for compatibility with
    GCC 5's libstdc++); taken from the trunk. Closes: #797038. LP: #1510042.
