Severity: normal

Version: 0.48.1_0ubuntu1
Bitmap fonts such as "Terminus" (available from the xfonts-terminus package in Debian/Ubuntu) appear in the font selection menu in Inkscape. However, when they are selected, Inkscape falls back to the default "Sans" font. The bitmap fonts should either be selectable, or they should be excluded from the menu.

Note that this does not affect Ubuntu by default, because bitmap fonts are disabled in fontconfig. To reproduce this in Ubuntu, the /etc/fonts/ conf.avail/ 70-no-bitmaps. conf file must temporarily be removed.
