There's also the case of the output of "bzr log" being so long that the top of the log with the most recent entries is past the default scrollback limit for your terminal emulator of choice. Presumably you wanted to check out some of the more recent log entries rather than the initial import anyways. I am very much in favor of making this customizable, if not default
