It seems this issue is fixed for me in 2.6.34 kernels. Kernels I've tried: - kernel-2.6.34.1-9.fc13.i686 - kernel-2.6.34.1-15.fc13.i686
and bluetooth works as it should, it can be hot/coldplugged, hciconfig shows proper device information:
