This behavior with Ubuntu MATE 14.10 is confirmed on a second computer.
Clicking on Places > Home Folder caused Audacious to open a new tab, then recursively search my home folder, find all music files and create a list for play. Two subfolders contain music files. in addition, it included a database at ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/database/biblio/biblio.db for some reason (song info for the database shows Title: p; Artist: (blank entry) Album: (blank entry); Format: ProTracker; Quality: sequenced; Bitrate: N/A
Expected behavior is to open my home folder in the file manager.
