I'm on Debian Stretch and have hit this issue. I'm using cryptsetup/LUKS -> LVM -> btrfs and already have udisks2 installed. I'm running an Xfce desktop.

I've extended the patch scottix made so I can not only avoid the pop-up but get image file deletion working again too.

Of course, an option to disable this issue completely from the GUI would be preferred.
