Bug Description

I´m downloading a file list from an other hub member
1. download seems to be finished,
2. the status of the member in the connection windows changes from "downloading" to "ready"
3. filelist will be shown
4. the status of the member in the connection windows changes from "ready" to "file not available"
5. In the download queue the filelist remains active and has to be manually removed
6. Additionally the connection to the member needs a manual break

Seems as would occur this behavior only while getting filelist from members with dc++ 0.68

Yes, 0.68 is really old and quite buggy version. What do you want us to do with it?
Btw. the connection windows has no "ready" status.
Btw2. just for curiousity I searched for a 0.68 peer (was hard to find one) and cannot reproduce this...

OK, until somebody can confirm that it can happen to filelists came from newer versions, too, I set it to Incomplete...

some additions to my report:

this behavior occured after my upgrade to dc++ 0.761,
0.75 has loaded the filelist without problems

the version 0.68 runs my hubmaster, its his decision to upgrade, not mine...

@emtee: I translated the messages back from german to english, an other word for "ready" may be "idle"
and the connection window is in my opinion the lower window with the progress bars and the connected
hubbers

The correct message is: ": file not available", please note to the double quote at beginning

To be clear, if its because a bug with 0.68 peers only we can't/won't take any action to fix it. We (and all other DC client developers) strongly recommend everyone to use the latest versions.

However, as there are several mysterious reports about downloading/showing/positioning filelists with 0.761 yours maybe another way showing that something's not OK. Still, we aren't able to reproduce the reported problem in any of these cases...
Does your problem happen when you download the filelist by selecting 'Get file list' from the hub's userlist or when you do the same from the search results window (or both way)?

emtee, thx for your response

I just error-free downloaded the filelist from dc++ 0.68-user by rightclick on the user in the search result list, as you recommended. That´s a workaround... :-)

Downloading the filelist from the userlist by doubleclick ends in the described behaviour.
There´s no difference, if I double click the user or go the way with right click in the user list
