Comment 71 for bug 92599

I'm not sure about bug 888039 because it's hard to reproduce (for me) and hard to distinguish between other similar performance bugs. I think it's likely half the people subscribed to that bug were actually seeing different bugs, some of which are now fixed.

Versions vv9 and vv10 only changed the Move plugin to make moving windows faster and more responsive (bug 764330). But it's excellent that ppa:vanvugt/compiz now contains enough fixes that things have improved considerably for you. I hope all the fixes in there get approved in time to go into Ubuntu 12.04.
