Bug Description

Using compiz (1:0.9.12+14.10.20140918-0ubuntu1) as a windows manager in KDE the following unwanted behaviour is experienced:
After adding or removing an external monitor by either (dis)attaching it or with xrandr, open windows are (randomly?) distributed over all the used workspaces (6 in my case).

This is quite annoying as I daily switch from a one monitor configuration at home to a two monitor configuration at work with lots of open windows which have to be reordered.

I have tested the behaviour using the standard kwin windows manager and everything is fine there.

This bug has already been fixed for earlier versions of compiz, see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/763148

Please let me know any further details I can provide.
