Unfortunately my problem is much wider.
BTW my processor is in the "Broadwell" family with is the successor or "Haswell" family.
To reproduce my problem:
- Switch on computer.
- log in and lock the screen (Alt+Ctrl+L)
- Press switch to virtual text terminal (eg.: Alt+Ctrl+1)
- use "top" to see what happening.
compiz goes to 100% using one core.
Checking CPU by CPU - hit "1" during running "top":
One core works 30% user 70% system, other 99,9% idle.
It IS very pity that nobody cares this issue, because quite decent systems with the latest Ubuntu is affected.
