While i don't think one can make any absolute judgement on users affected by a bug report, dupes, number affected, ppa use, ect., it does seem many more are affected by the current fix then orig bug. (and should increase in a lts release
Currently there are 3 Ubuntu releases where the orig. bug is still active, 12.04, 12.10, 13.04 & one release where it was fixed, 13.10
The orig. bug has no dupes & 11 affected
Two ppa's that revert the commit for 13.10 show 136 total as seen thru ppastats (not sure whether ppastats is cumulative or for current build, no matter really ..
