I set down compiz framerate to 10 and then put on the fullscreen in Minecraft and I see that Minecraft adapts the compiz framerate even in fullscreen so I'm sure itŝ rendered to offscreen, because in etracer (where this feature works) the framerate is not adapted. So this feature is not perfectly reliable which is a big problem to any gamer, because Unity does NOT ALLOW to switch to a non-composited desktop without logging out. So is forced to use the 2D one which means he cannot enjoy both features with major drawbacks: Good Visuals & Maximized Gaming Performance. (Gaming Performance might have good FPS but lot of Jitters!!)
