Compiz silently fails to load plugins from LD_LIBRARY_PATH. For example, if I move a plugin to some directory that is in my$LD_LIBRARY_PATH, dlopen should always find it. Hence compiz should find it. But compiz fails to find any plugin that is not in its main install directory.
