When using "static application switcher" (or "application switcher"), maximized windows have a preview that's ok.
Non-maximized windows without transparency, are painted 100% black in the preview.
Non-maximized windows with transparency, are painted 100% transparent (blank).
I'm not using any window decorator (I feel this might be relevant for some reason).
I'm not sure what info may be relevant; i'm attaching my compiz configuration.
