Yes, Mats forgot to update the internal version number. This is no big deal and does not hurt in any way. The About dialog shows the right number as the GIF file is updated separately with each release. The About dialog shows the wrong number in the daily builds (development version) as we don't think it's worth the effort to update the GIF file for the unofficial devel version. Best would be that Mats added support for SVG splashscreens so that the version number could be set automatically...
