Do the logs provide any details on why cloud-init takes more than 10 minutes to complete ? Is cloud-init waiting for casper-md5check.service to complete ? casper-md5check.service seems to be taking > 10 minutes when issue occurs.

Hi Michael,

Could subiquity be made to continue without interrupting the installation and reschedule a check to verify if cloud-init completed ? Or does it need to wait for cloud-init complete before proceeding with installation ?

Also, any thoughts on query from comment #17 ?
