Hi,

i just wanted to mention that we are having a similar issue with the EU-west-1 images released on 2017 03 30 with the AMI ID : ami-abc5facd

the system is not able to run a normal aptitude update or any other commands since its root device is instantly full :(

Please revert the changes done to something more usable.
