thanks for Your quick reply! This has been lingering for so long and a workaround is available, so no need to hurry. I am just very curious about the real cause for this issue and would prefer a proper solution. :)
For now we are using this little drop in /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.sbin.libvirtd:
network unix dgram,
followed by 'apparmor_parser -r -W -T /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.libvirtd'
