really? why are they rebuilt in the private ppa?
anyway, because pull-* uses the (public) lp api to find packages and enumerate the binary files they create, if the ddebs aren't listed in the public -staging ppa, it won't know about them even if they are included in the ubuntu-cloud.archive.canonical.com archive. So (assuming the ddeb filename isn't changing between -staging and -proposed) pull-uca-ddebs will first look on ubuntu-cloud for the ddeb files, and so should pull the correct (privately built) ones. So yeah, please do enable ddeb building in the public -staging ppas.
