At the rate we're finding new cracks in our fragile image/disk handling code, I would definitely not recommend disabling deep inspection to get around something as minor as not being able to rescue with iso. Remember, even if you have the qemu patches applied, that only prevents the info command from exposing the data-file exploit. If we allow anything else to run on a vulnerable image, that won't help you.
