I have checked this case with several different images and templates and could not reproduce this issue.

apt-cache policy apparmor-easyprof-ubuntu
apparmor-easyprof-ubuntu:
  Installed: 16.04.5

        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial/main i386 Packages

The dependency chain is like this:

Can you upgrade the schroot to have 0.44~16.04.1 from xenial-proposed and report back if that fixes the issue?

Sorry, I meant the lxd container, not schroot.

I suspect the problem is that in release of the review tools before 0.44~16.04.1, the URL was wrong because the file moved and the tools weren't updated. That is fixed in 0.44~16.04.1. Can someone test this package?

It was confirmed on IRC that this is a dupe of bug #1622188. While bug #1622188 is newer than this one, I'm going to mark this a dupe of 1622188 because it has a better discussion of the problem and solution.
