I had a look through the issues on github and couldn't find one for this, so please create a new one. It's probably an issue in either CSD (which should make sure CSR locks before telling the session to suspend), or CSR itself (which should hold until fully locked).
The fix we're preparing for this bug report (here) might help, because it will reduce the time it takes for CSR to lock on idle from 10 seconds to 0 seconds (we're getting rid of the fade-in basically). Still, this is definitely a separate issue.
