OK, so the issue that I reported went away with a reboot. (More than likely a restart of cinnamon will be sufficient.) I'll keep my eye out for any of the other issues reported.

Also, keep up the good work! The new screensaver is excellent. I love the integration with rhythmbox (and presumably any music player that shows up in the notification area).
