Experiencing the same issue as Dave (davenue), sometimes after unsuspending I get directly to desktop without any cinnamon-screensaver running.

I've started a `cinnamon-screensaver --debug &>~/cinnamon-screensaver-debug.log` as well and will report back once the issue is reproduced.
