Do you mean Ironic-like cases with normal user BMs? It should not be allowed with the storage. Any host that needs connection to the VxFlex OS storage must have client side software installed and configured as superuser. And for OpenStack there is now additional requirement of the config file with admin credentials. Client side VxFlex software creates virtual block devices on hosts that are passed to VMs.
So I would say no user BMs are supported / recommended. VMs are welcome.
