The master patch apply cleanly on stable/icehouse, though run_tests.sh produced errors, like:
 cinder.tests.test_glusterfs.GlusterFsDriverTestCase.test_backup_snap_failure_2
 cinder.tests.test_glusterfs.GlusterFsDriverTestCase.test_backup_volume

-> AttributeError: No values given for arguments: volume_id

And the patch does not apply on stable/havana...

@glance-coresec/@eric: if the master patch looks good to you, any chance you also provide backports for stables in order for VMT to proceed to CVE request ?
