Ok, I see it makes sense, as it's a critical piece of info; +1 from translations.

Thanks Daniel for decoupling the new string from the original welcome message, so that the latter will remain unchanged in those languages it already has been translated.

Please upload asap, so that the new translations template makes it to Launchpad in time for translators to translate the new string.
