@mario, I'm solving this issue changing the default policy for incoming traffic from 'deny' to 'allow', this will enable memcache to co-exist with other services in the same machine.

I'm marking this is duplicate of bug 1423439 as @paulgear pointed out, if you think this is a different error, please let us know.
