Hey Chuck, nice bundle!

Gave it the "tommy test" (see 4th law http://barry.warsaw.us/software/laws.html) and the README worked splendidly on ec2 west once I got the instance type constraints right.

All the examples worked great and it's really nice to have a set of smoketests to confirm a deployed system. I might suggest rolling them up into a single script (smoketest.sh?) that spits out a description of the command and then runs it. For extra laziness ;)
