We're still running into this. These logs show the hacluster unti waiting 5 minutes to acquire the machine lock, while the mysql unit acquires and releases it about 32 times during the same time period. It doesn't seem like the lock has any queuing properties.

In this case, the mysql unit can't actually make any progress until the hacluster unit gets a chance to run its hook, because it's waiting on hacluster to finish setting up.
