@jneo8, no I think this should be part of the mysql charm itself. Moving it to another charm makes sense if it can be abstracted or provided for multiple charms - but that's not the case here.

It is very domain specific, i.e you aren't going to add a mysql-prometheus-exporter charm to something that *isn't* mysql so you should just embed it in the charm itself.
