@jason-hobbs We are seeing multiple issues in the same area of the code. The fix in this bug is for when ceph-mon unit stays in "Bootstrapping MON cluster" workload state.

The crash and error state you reference is not the same issue and needs a new bug report. As I am currently investigating this crash on the back of a intermittent CI failure problem I have created bug 1758664
