Hi Guys,
I’m using Likewise Open(likewise-open 6.1.0.406-0ubuntu5) In Ubuntu 12.04 Beta2 version. In early versions of Ubutnu and Likewise Open,
I could connect to windows active directory and the connection used to be remembered even after a reboot.
But when I used this particular version and also even the most newest one(pbis-
I had downloaded from your site, the reported error occurs( authentication breaks after reboot).
Possible Lead to the Solution:
But I have a got a lead to what it might be. The connection to the domain still exists,
but I’m unable to login as a domain user.
But if I try browsing into a Samba share folder in Nautilus, and I give the login credentials there(domain username, password), I get to open the files.
And now If I choose to switch user, and try to login as a Windows domain user, I’m able to login.
After reboot again the authentication is broken. :(
