Comment 0 for bug 1645833

The unity8-session snap can't play sound due to a number of reasons.

1) The sound indicator doesn't launch because of hardcoded paths (bug 1629009, has a branch)

2) pulseaudio crashes on startup (bug 1645797, has a branch)

3) media-hub does not know about snap appids and thus refuses connections from unity8 (bug 1642611, has workaround branch but no real solution yet)

4) We are using the Ubuntu Touch pulseaudio configuration, which has some oddities like a "fake" sink that prevent audio from working. Albert is working in this, we have a WIP branch, linked here.
