Cannot email to Kindle after release 5.29

I see that bug was already marked as fixed in https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/+bug/1949604, but the problem is still exists for me, even in Calibre 6.4.

I'm on Windows 10.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.

Sigh what incompetent monkeys does amazon employ? I guess I might as well nuke the body text of the email as well. That's the last thing in Cyrillic in the email, which amazon apparently cant handle.

Maybe I don't understand something, but for me it looks like problem in mail generation, not in its processing on Amazon side. Because, as you can see, in working variant file is actual attachment, but in current version it is encoded as base64 string

This fix has created a problem when sending books via email to kindle.

Now the title of the book in the kindle is a set of random characters. The real title doesn't appear in the kindle.

I had to rollback to 6.4 version.

My suggesting is to revert the commit introducing this change. Or at least make it configurable so that the legacy behavior can be kept for most user.
