Custom Series columns no longer auto-completing since update

Bug Description
Since the latest Calibre update to 2.65, my custom columns used as series no longer autocomplete with existing names.
I haven't changed any settings.
This is holding true on BOTH of my custom series columns which worked just fine before the update. They have always has the column type: "Text column or keeping series-like information."
I wonder if it's related to your addition to this part of the update:
"Custom columns: Add a new 'Short text' column type that behaves like the builtin title column
More generally, you can now customize Comments-like columns, controlling how their headings are displayed in the Book Details panel and also specifying what kind of data they contain (plain text, HTML or even Markdown)"
The standard Series column works just fine as do other standard columns such as author, tags, publisher when it comes to auto-complete of existing names (and thus sequential series index).
