Right-click edit metadata menu glitchy

Bug Description
When I right-click a specific book in my library and try to select the edit metadata submenu, this submenu flickers on and off and does not allow me to select any of the options.
However, I can select to edit metadata from the menu bar. Furthermore, the other right-click options do not glitch, only the edit metadata.
I just upgraded to Calibre 2.50.1 on Ubuntu 15.10. This issue was not occurring with my previous version of Calibre (which I believe was the latest before 2.50.1)
