These are directory services, and not supported in URLs. They are supported as part of the URL you can pass on to the bzr command-line utility but if you pass them to a bzrlib API it will probably try to interpret them as a path.
Perhaps we should just have a "bzr help locationspec" help topic that covers both, or add a pointer to directory services from the urlspec topic.
