if you can guide me in reproducing your config there (speak slowly, gentoo is not my native OS ;) I could try to reproduce the issue.
Keep in mind though, that these tests are a bit pedantic and doesn't indicate an issue in the data transferred and as such shouldn't be seen as blockers to deploy bzr on gentoo.
