The bzr --no-plugins hooks works fine and I don't get that error anymore.
I tried bzr 1.16 and I still that exception.
Maybe it's because I'm using python 2.5 ???? I don't get this error when running the command on my Ubuntu box with python 2.6.2.
The --no-plugins does the trick though.
