Connecting through ssh creates new session on the same "session"

Bug Description

byobu version 5.112
tmux 2.5

This is more of a discussion rather than a bug (since I am not confident if these are bugs or As-esigned)

It looks related to,

I have been leaving SSH sessions open, which timeout overnight sometimes (for unknown reasons).

So, reconnecting to them creates a new sessions (which I kill as an OCD habit).

Wouldn't it be expected to attach-otherwise-create new?

Through the aforementioned "habit", I noticed there is no autocomplete attached to byobu command. Is there something official available or should this topic guide us? (`locate complet | grep -P 'tmux|byobu'` does not find anything)

At the same time, today I start seeing while ssh-connecting. Is this fixed on 5.113 or the same bug in a different form?

I'd love to get a bash completion script for tmux/byobu in Byobu. I need one contributed under a GPL3 license, and I'd take it in a heartbeat!

Changed in byobu:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Triaged
