Bug Description

The software-center ist not showing any paid apps. The banner works. For example, "lords of ultima" shows up in the banner, however if I click on it, I get the messaage (german):
"Nicht gefunden"
"Es gibt kein Software-Paket mit dem Namen »lordofultima« in Ihren derzeitigen Software-Quellen."

I tried to delete my ~/.cache/software-center and /~.config/software-center directories. But nothing changed.

If i use the terminal to start the software-center as root-user, the paid apps are shown (sudo software-center).

maybe this line is the cause?:
2012-05-10 14:49:51,604 - softwarecenter.ui.gtk3.app - INFO - setting up proxy 'http://www-proxy.salomon.at:8080/'
But on System-Settings => Network => Network-Proxy, my Method is set to "no Proxy"

I found a workaround to get this working and I think I found the Bug.
If I delete on System-Settings => Network => Network-Proxy, Method = manual the Proxy-entries (in my case set from "'http://www-proxy.salomon.at:8080/'" to "") and set the Method then to "none" = no Prodxy, the USC shows me all apps (also the paid apps)!
So I think the bug is, that the USC loads the proxys without differention of the set method for proxy on network in system-settings.

I'm pretty sure this is a duplicate of bug #982567 where the proxy handling does not work as expected. It should be fixed in 5.2.2 that is currently in precise-proposed.
