LXKeymap crashes when I press Apply

When I am in profiles I create a second profile and then I try to set some options (keys to change layout).

I press ok and then Apply.

After a few seconds LXKeymap closes unexpectedly.

This regards LXKeymap 0.7.99

Please can you redo it once started from the terminal and put in the output.

I can confirm that lxkeymap seems not to save the configuration file correctly if clicked apply in profiles overview.
If you press apply in country select view it should work.
I was not able to reproduce an unexpected close of lxkeymap however.

It looks to me like lxkeymap doesn't select a default country when a new profile is created.
