I Updated from 10.04 and this package could not be installed

/etc/default/locale: line 1: LANGUAGE: command not found

dpkg: error processing install-info (--configure):

 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 127

did you change the /etc/default/locale file then that is what is causing the problem for you
