Bug Description

Before upgrading to 12.04 the alt-F10 key combo worked perfectly for maximizing the current window. Now it seems to have a conflict.

The 'hint' window that pops up when the super key is held down actually lists it twice. First under the heading "HUD & menu bar" -- Opens the indicator menu -- and second under the heading "Windows" -- Maximizes the current window.

When I press the combination it opens the "file" menu for whatever window is currently in focus. If I press the combination repeatedly I can eventually get the window to maximize. Also, if I do that for the Terminal after maximizing it has the string ";3~;3~" entered at the prompt. I tried to get a similar behavior from other applications waiting for textual input but seems to only happen in terminal. Not sure if that is pertinent/related but thought it worth mentioning.

This is no longer a duplicate now that I've reviewed similar bugs. This bug is about the Keybaord Shortcuts overlay showing two different actions for Alt+F10, because Alt+F10 really is bound to two if you upgrade. But only one action will work (Opens the indicator menu).

Workaround:
Go to CCSM > General Options > Key bindings ... and change the keys to something else.
