Installed 12.04 LTS on the Vostro 1014 (201010-6648) and during certification testing, I discovered that the media card reader does not function on this machine. This has a Ricoh card reader and it does not appear to recognize any media card inserted. I tried MMC, SD and SDHC, all known to work having been used successfully in other systems.
