Cannot reuse phantom BOMs

Dear fellow partners:

We have a client whose BoMs are made up of several layers. That means; BoMs
are comprised of regular components and also phantom BoMs (components made
of other components/parts). These layers are often the same or similar requiring the ability to re-use phantom BOMs for many manufactured products.

Needs:

We would like to re-use phantom BOMs in many normal BOMs while properly testing if components are in stock. Please see attachment for further details and images.
