No, that case is different. I never received the email.

I did create my forum account and received the email right away for activation. I never received the community activation one.

That bug references someone deleting the email. I never received it.
I received the activation email for the forums account without a problem - just
not the one for the Linux Mint Community.

The time between the registration and the activation expired, so I tried it again with loginID "rence" and the
same email address I used before. Once again, I received no activation email.

I have the same problem. No email sent.
I do not mined having two different ways of reporting a bug. It makes it
easer to compare the two services to see who is doing a better job.

Same here. For the third time in a row I did not receive an activation link for the Linux Mint community registration. An e-mail with the activation link did not land in my spam folder. I always waited for 48 hours and then registered again. I once contacted <email address hidden> but did not get a reply. What is going on? I wonder why this bug is labeled 'invalid'. Unless this bug is not fixed and no one replies if you try to contact the maintainers of the Linux Mint community there should be an information on the website about this to keep new users from frustratingly failing to register again and again.

Thank you.

Please don't contact the development team (<email address hidden>) for account related problems. Instead, please contact either of the administrators listed on the Contact Us page I linked to.

I wrote an e-mail to all of them. Never got an answer. Seems they secretly went on a summer vacation together and their plane crashed somewhere in some remote region of this planet, so nobody ever noticed.
