Bug Description

software-center 5.2, Ubuntu 12.04

Packages that were purged using the terminal (sudo apt-get purge ...) don't show up in history (Ubuntu Software Center -> History). No problem with "normally" removed (sudo apt-get remove ...) or installed packages (sudo apt-get install ...).

<https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#history>: "Below the navigation bar, a filter bar should have items for “All Changes”, “All Installations” (including purchases), “Purchases”, and “Removals” (including purges) ... The text should be of the form: ... “{short name} purged”..."

@mpt: Where should purged packages appear in history? In the removed category, or in a separate Purged category?

purge
purge is identical to remove except that packages are removed and
purged (any configuration files are deleted too).

So I think it should appear in the removed category.

Actually, I think it's good. Robert asked a question, and that calls for an Incomplete. This should then get reset once the information is provided. At that point, the bug should be set as either Confirmed or Triaged, the latter if we have enough information to start work on it. At no point should a bug that has had work done on it be reset to "New". We need that to indicate bugs that nobody has looked at yet.

Thanks!
