Bug Description

I have a little more then 112 partitions as part of an Logical Volume and every boot I get a tone of "vgchange -a y" timed out/killing messages.

I don't know how much more I can say, it's a 3T driver with 25GB partitions. The idea is that 25GB will just fit onto a blu-ray disk/layer for backups, combined with dm_snaps.

Hitting this disk with a bunch of vgchange commands is bound to take a vary long time. As a point of note altering the LVM usually takes about 15 to 30 seconds, while each PV is updated.

This should also be sub-optimal on a box with 2 or more PVs.
